When the human body neglects, human spirit regrets. It is not without reason that the belief “We are solely responsible for our own problems” has originated.
A number of times in life, we either feel frustrated, wasted or helpless or then turn to look out for others, either blaming them for our woes or searching for a sympathizing hand.
Nonetheless, what we conveniently forget is that most solutions do not lie in the external spheres of life instead, they are placed well within ourselves.
We have caged our souls to fulfilling our material desires, in turn, forgetting the spiritual hunger which our mind consistently seeks. Thereby, it is vital that we uncage our own selves from the clutches of dissatisfaction and unfulfilled aspirations and try to hunt down sources of encouragement in the life we are currently living.
This will happen only if we live in and live only for- today!
Move on
The first thing you ought to do is to leave the luggage of your past behind. All of us, at some point in life, have faced the fears which have arisen out of our past deeds.
All of us harbor the time bygone within us and the memories of it are not always rosy. Thus, shed the inhibitions of the time gone by and take lessons from it. Move forward with the renewed vigor of experience and learning.
Feel proud
No matter how much you may loathe yourself, the fact still remains that no sort of encouragement is possible without having faith in your own capabilities. Self-esteem and dignity are the most prized possessions which an individual has!
Losing them out for short term gains, whether monetary or otherwise, is another reason which blinds and binds you.
Talk to yourself
There is nothing better than being your own friend. This does not just reduce the need for foreign help but it also drastically cuts down the feeling of being sympathized with. Share all your problems with your soul.
Look for solutions in your mind. Treat your body with good food and keep it healthy with exercise. The more you fall in love with yourself, the more you will begin to appreciate the world around you.
Help others
You may have a lot of problems in your life, but helping others with theirs will only make you feel good. There are a lot of people out there who are putting up in situations which are far worse than yours.
Help them out in whichever manner you can. Even the tiniest of assistance rendered by you will aid you in gathering your own being together.
Indulge in hobbies
Hobbies are not merely a way to pass time. They are in fact measures to connect to your soul. Make it a point to indulge in at least one hobby as often as possible. This goes a long way in relieving stress and bringing out the best in you.
Our penultimate aim must be to strive for leading an uncaged life with no inhibitions and no restrictions. When you look out for encouragement for today, let your past take a back seat and let not the future unseat you. Live in today and look within. That is where peace and harmony truly lies.
